In an era where authenticity is increasingly rare, true art is often lost to mass production, scams, and machine-made imitations. Utkal Aditri was born from a singular, heartbreaking realization: the very people who spend months weaving the soul of Odisha into six yards of silk were struggling to survive, while middlemen and massive retail brands walked away with the profits.
We decided it was time to completely rewrite the narrative.

Utkal Aditri was founded to support Odisha’s weaving traditions and build relationships with weaving communities. Our operating history is not stated here pending confirmation of the founding date.
Utkal Aditri works directly with weaving families and sources sarees from Odisha’s weaving communities.
A Zero-Fee Ethical Bridge
We work directly with a network of 150 weaving families and source sarees from Odisha’s weaving communities. Our platform is intended to charge no platform or intermediary fee; payment, shipping and other applicable charges are separate. Order dispatch location may vary.
