Sambalpuri Weave
Renowned for its mathematical precision, the Sambalpuri weave is created by tie-dyeing the warp and weft threads before they hit the loom. The resulting double ikat motifs exhibit feathered edges and stunning symmetries.
Bomkai Weave
Originally from Ganjam, Bomkai sarees are defined by their dense, intricate extra-weft embroidery-like work. Woven on pit looms, they blend silk and cotton with striking contrast borders.
Khandua Weave
Nuapatna's sacred silk weave, Khandua, is historically offered to Lord Jagannath at Puri. Characterized by its light weight, glossy silk body, and geometric temple borders, it is Odisha's pride.
Kotpad Weave
Woven by the Mirgan community of Kotpad, this coarse cotton saree is dyed using natural madder root (Aal) extracts. It takes up to a month to extract the deep rusty reds and charcoal blacks.

For four generations, this weaving family has guarded the secrets of double-ikat bandha tie-dye. Every saree they create is a collective family effort, requiring weeks of preparation, natural dye formulation, and mathematically precise loom setup before the shuttle first flies.
